Air Fryer French Toast Sticks
Air Fryer French Toast Strips are perfect for brunch. They’re so quick and easy to make and clean up is a breeze. Growing up, we would toss our French toast hot out of the pan straight into sugar and cinnamon. I definitely recommend you give it a try! The best part is these can be dipped right into maple syrup.
Here’s how I made it!
First, gather your ingredients. You’ll need a load of French or Italian bread, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, milk and eggs.
Preheat your air fryer to 190 C/375 F.
Slice your bread into 1 1/2 inch strips.
Whisk your eggs with vanilla, milk and cinnamon.
Dip your bread into the egg mixture, turning it to coat on all sides.
Air-fry for 10 minutes, turning at the 5 minute mark.
Remove from the air fryer and immediately toss the hot French toast strips into a plate with cinnamon and sugar, tossing to coat.
Serve with maple syrup to dip!
Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 loaf of French or Italian bread, sliced into 1 1/2 inch strips
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp cinnamon mixed with 1/2 cup sugar
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 190 C/375 F.
In a shallow dish, whisk your eggs, vanilla and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Place your breadsticks in the egg mixture and turn to coat on all sides.
Spray the air fryer with oil spray and arrange a few bread sticks in the tray, making sure they don’t touch. You want the air to circulate!
Air fry 5 minutes, then flip and air fry for another 5 minutes.
Toss into cinnamon and sugar and serve with maple syrup for dipping!
