Two tubs of Oreo ice cream, one package of Oreo cookies and butter are all you need to make this show-stopping ice cream cake; dare I say it’s better than the kind we spent years buying! It’s also a fraction of the price and comes together so quickly, you’ll never look back. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles for a special occasion.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 family pack of Oreos

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 2 tubs of Oreo Ice Cream

Directions:

  1. Line a springform pan base with parchment paper.

  2. Take out two tubs of ice cream from the freezer so they *slightly* defrost while you make the crust.

  3. In a food processor, or by hand, pulse/crush your Oreos. Reserve 1 cup for topping the cake.

  4. In a bowl, add the crushed Oreos and melted butter and mix well.

  5. Press the mixture tightly into the bottom of the springform pan and then scoop out all the ice cream, pressing it down with an offset spatula and levelling it at the top.

  6. Freeze for 12-24 hours until solid. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired and the reserved crushed Oreos.
